The One-Month Marker

Ethan hit the one-month marker over the weekend. Apparently he has been very busy eating and growing, as he now weighs 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Soon he'll be passing up his Father!

Who wears the Pants in the Family?

I have had a completely irrational fear of putting anything over Ethan's head, so he's been living in sleepers with snaps or buttons up the front ever since he was born. Well, I conquered my fear head-on this past weekend and slipped a onesie over Ethan's head and paired it with his VERY FIRST PAIR OF PANTS. It was a very exciting morning!

Lazy Days

What they say is true -- babies really do change your lifestyle. Our weekends used to be filled with dinners, drinks with friends, football and sleeping in. Now our weekends are filled with breastfeeding sessions, naptime (mine and Ethan's) and diaper changes! However, with all of that said, I'd be remiss if I didn't say life is very good.

This weekend was filled with snow and lots of hanging out. We picked out our Christmas tree, enjoyed a leisurely coffee break at Starbucks, debuted the Ethan Activity Center and did some Christmas shopping!

Despite their record this year, Ethan still sports his colors showing his support for the Bears. Like father, like son...

The Best Two Weeks

We have fallen hard for this little one and are just grateful we've made it these past two weeks!!

Our First Outing

We braved the elements last week, and went to see the pediatrician. It was the first time in what felt like weeks that Mike and I actually showered and got dressed in clothes that are appropriate to wear outside our house. Grandma was even able to join us! After Mike and I asked a zillion questions, Ethan got a big thumbs up from Dr. Plotnik.
