Two Months Old

As of today, Ethan has graced the world with his presence for two full months. Here's a list of some of his favorite things:

1. Hanging out with Dad in the Baby Bjorn
2. Watching crazy farmyard animals circle above the crib and kicking around on the play mat
3. Accompanying Mom on shopping trips
4. Listening to Mom and Dad read books and sing silly songs

Last weekend, Christie came for a short visit, which was especially great for me, as I went and had a fabulous massage. We hung out at Starbucks, ate good food and talked all about our big family vacation!

Happy Hour

Tuesday night, 6 p.m. Dad gets a bottle of beer; Ethan gets a bottle of milk.

I Love Grandma!

What a great weekend we had! We had a much needed visit from Grammy and I don't know who loved it more, Ethan or me. We started the weekend off with a crabby, screaming baby and a bath on Friday night, but spent Saturday and Sunday shopping, eating, reading, watching football and more eating. And, Saturday night we made huge progress, as Ethan slept for 5 hours straight for the first time! Such a great weekend filled with sunshine and love.

It was so great to have my Mom here -- please come back soon Mom, we love you!

All Grown Up!

We have officially outgrown the small, hospial-issued pink bathtub and are big and old enough for the real deal!! This was the first bath in oh...6 weeks where Ethan didn't cry and have a miserable time! We're making progress!!

Trying to Beat the Cold

With the high the last 2 days being single-digits, we've been trying out all the fun baby stuff! It's really amazing how much different Ethan reacts to things week-to-week. He was really interested in the colors and the animals. He also was swatting at the mobile toys, but he didn't know it - it was purely just his swinging arms and hands, which he is starting to recognize.
