Nine Months

It's official, Ethan is no longer a baby! He turned 9 months old last Saturday and I can't believe the changes in him even from 8 months old. Every week brings something new. Here are some updates:

Ethan will mimic people -- mostly Mike! If you make a sound and move your head, he will do it over and over and over...
He is eating everything and anything and the only thing we have found he doesn't like is spinach.
He loves to sit in the front yard and watch the kids ride bikes, scooters, etc.
He has 5 teeth; 3 bottom and 2 brand-new up top.
His favorite things are cheerios, the orange monkey in these photos, sitting and playing with toys and sleeping -- just like me.
Mike and I decided that one of the many, many things we love about Ethan right now is the way he greets us after he wakes up. We typically hear him start to roll around and then there are a few little grunts as he begins wake up. Soon thereafter, his chitter chatter starts up and by the time we make it to the nursery door he's overflowing with energy (and a desire to get out and PLAY!) It's the greatest.

We go to the doctor for Ethan's 9 month appointment next Monday, so we'll get the official stats. My guess is about 19 lbs and 27-28 inches tall.
